Cherry Lime Kombucha Spritzer

Honestly, this was a happy accident - which in my life, is often how things are created. If you love cherries and kombucha you will love this too! 

If you have kombucha already brewing and you are ready for the 2nd ferment, then continue on.

1. Fill the jar you will use for your 2nd ferment with your fermented kombucha. Leave at least 2 inches head space.

2. In a food chopper (or finely chop) frozen cherries. About 1 cup per quart size mason jar.  

3. Mix your cherries in with your kombucha, tightly screw on lid.

4. Leave this to ferment for 1 week. 

5. In a big drinking glass, 

    Half fill with ice

    Fill 3/4 full with cherry kombucha

    Top off with a lemon lime soda (I prefer zero sugar) and a squeeze of fresh lime or lime juice.

Sit back and enjoy this healthy and refreshing treat!
